BACOLOD CITY — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) plans to conduct a demonstration on the use of the new automated counting machines (ACM) in local government units (LGU) in Negros Island Region (NIR) as part of the voters' education campaign for the May 2025 national and local elections.
NIR election director Lionel Marco Castillano said on Saturday that the plan aims to raise public acceptance of the new ACMs.
