Boatman drowns, 20 rescued in Bohol

CEBU CITY — A 62-year-old boatman drowned and 20 passengers were rescued after several boats capsized in rough seas near Gakang Island, Panglao, Bohol.

The boatman, identified as Avenito Vistal from Inabanga town, was aboard a motorized boat named MB Memar Nico when it was struck by large waves during a sudden storm on Thursday.
