MANILA, Philippines— The low pressure area (LPA) spotted off Aurora has turned into a tropical depression named Gener, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Monday.
The center of "Gener" was estimated some 315 kilometers east-northeast of Casiguran, Aurora.
