The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) co-hosted the lecture "Japan's Experiences and Strategies for Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience" as part of the 5th JICA Chair Lecture Series, held on September 5 at Ateneo de Manila University.

Japanese Ambassador Kazuya Endo graced the ceremony alongside JICA Philippines Chief Representative Takema Sakamoto, ADMU President Fr. Roberto Yap, SJ, and Assistant Secretary Noralene Uy of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
