Drowned man found in Nueva Vizcaya canal

DIADI, Nueva Vizcaya — The body of a 46-year-old man was found floating along the National Irrigation Administration main canal in Purok 5, Barangay La Torre North in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, at about 7 a.m. on September 12, police said.

Probers said the body was not immediately taken out until late afternoon due to the strong current at the main irrigation canal, which is 10 feet deep.
