THE Department of Health (DoH) said it was considering the inclusion of private schools in the expansion of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination among learners ages 9 to 14 years old.

The statement came after the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) issued a letter to its members to ensure the completeness of required immunizations for students against HPV, which prevents cervical cancer.
