Two NPA rebels die in Cagayan clash

TUGUEGARAO CITY — Two members of the New People's Army (NPA) were found dead after a 10-minute gunfight at the mountains in Bugatay, Peñablanca, Cagayan on Wednesday morning, the military said in a belated report.

The Philippine Army's 502nd Infantry Brigade has reported that the fatalities, a man and a woman, have been brought to a funeral parlor. They sustained head and body bullet wounds.
