ILOILO CITY — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) here said former Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog is eligible to file a certificate of candidacy (CoC) for the 2025 midterm elections despite his pending voter registration reactivation.
Jonathan Sayno, Comelec-Iloilo City assistant officer 2, told The Manila Times that Mabilog's application for reactivation is subject to a hearing based on Republic Act 8189 or the System of Continuing Registration Act.
