Climate crisis and food security

CLIMATE change is causing heat waves, droughts, wildfires and floods, all of which affect the food system, in particular the matter of food security.

Food security is defined as access to sufficient quantities of food in appropriate quality. It depends on an affordable supply of all elements required for a nutritious diet.
