FLAG carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) on Friday said it would resume direct flights between Cebu and Osaka starting December 22.

This will be a significant expansion of PAL's network in Japan, the airline said, noting that the country is the Philippines' fourth-largest source of tourist visitors and home to over 300,000 overseas Filipinos.
