City officials and the LA2028 organizers drummed up support for the 2028 Games in Los Angeles on Thursday, September 12, with the first showing of the Olympic and Paralympic flags at City Hall.
Los Angeles will be hosting the Olympics for a third time in summer 2028. The last time the city hosted the Olympics was in 1984. It will be the first time the city has hosted the Paralympics.
Mayor Karen Bass pledged that the 2028 edition would be "a Games for all."
