GIVEN the number of great fighters he had beaten in his illustrious career, you can say that Mexican superstar Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez is occasionally entitled to a free pass.

Alvarez, 34, is heading to his showdown with Puerto Rican puncher Edgar Berlanga this weekend as the overwhelming favorite to retain his unified super middleweight (168 pounds) championship.
