THE Department of Tourism (DoT) introduced the Marhaba Boracay, a distinctive Muslim-friendly cove for families and travelers, as part of the agency's long-standing commitment to include halal tourism portfolio on the Boracay Island on Tuesday.

Marhaba Boracay was initiated by the local government unit of Malay (LGU-Malay) and the DoT, in partnership with Megaworld Hotels and Resorts, and is located in the cove area of Boracay's Newcoast private beach.
