Is the Philippines the riskiest country in the world?

FOR the third straight year, the Philippines ranked first in the World Risk Report annually conducted and released by the Institute for International Law of Peace and Armed Conflict of the Ruhr-University Bochum in Denmark.

We had the highest world risk index (WRI) in the 2024 edition of the report, 'out-risking' 193 other countries, which, according to reports, comprise approximately 99 percent of the world population.
