SEN. Cynthia Villar said that the Nacionalista Party (NP), the oldest political party in the Philippines and Southeast Asia, remains a force to be reckoned with in Las Piñas City.
Villar added that NP's popularity in the place was a legacy that traces back to her father, Dr. Filemon Aguilar, who held the positions of mayor (1964–1986) and congressman (1987–1992) in the Las Piñas-Muntinlupa area.
