MANILA, Philippines — Mapua University (MU) bounced back from its NCAA Season 100 men's basketball tournament opening loss with a 69-66 win over Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) at the FilOil EcoOil Center Wednesday.

Reigning MVP Clint Escamis poured 10 points, six assists, four rebounds, and three steals against three turnovers for the Cardinals, who put up a 24-13 start and did just enough for the rest of the way to hold off the Generals.
