OLYMPIC boxer Hergie Bacyadan, who hails from Tanudan, Kalinga, was honored with a hero's welcome and awarded with P500,000 incentive by the Kalinga local government unit (LGU) on Tuesday.

According to the provincial government, this recognition was given in acknowledgment of the honor and pride she has brought to the country and by being the first Kalinga Olympian.
