TUGUEGARAO CITY — The first mpox case in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) has been confirmed, the Department of Health Cagayan Valley Center for Health Development (DoH-CVCHD) said on Tuesday.

The DoH-CVCHD said the patient, whose identity was kept confidential, has been isolated and is currently receiving the necessary medical care.
