The Manila Times is proud to announce the recipients of its short documentary grant, awarded to three outstanding students from the second batch of The Manila Times School of Journalism's Masterclass in Visual Storytelling of True Tales. This initiative reaffirms The Manila Times' commitment to supporting emerging talents in the field of documentary filmmaking.

Janina Magundayao, Charles Kirby Fabellon, and Jb Corpuz were selected for their compelling documentary pitches, which were developed during the masterclass held from May 6 to 14, 2024. Each grant will provide production support as these talented filmmakers bring their ideas to life.
