THE country's trade deficit widened in July as both imports and exports recovered after contracting a month earlier, the Philippine Statistics Authority reported on Tuesday.
At $4.86 billion, the shortfall was higher than the $4.3 billion posted in June and the year-earlier $4.12 billion.
