VICE President Sara Duterte was not being facetious or bratty when she depicted herself as the "designated survivor" to blithely explain her absence (boycott?) from President Ferdinand Marcos. Jr's third State of the Nation Address last July 22 at the Batasan. She was not teasing the harried stage managers of the SONA extravaganza.
Nor was she being true to her tutelage as a daughter of the inimitable Rodrigo Duterte.
