BoC nets P4.8B in hot items in Binondo raid

BUREAU of Customs (BoC) operatives seized a shipment of smuggled e-cigarettes (vapes) and other products worth P4.8 billion in a raid on a warehouse in Manila.

Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio said on Monday that the amount of smuggled products recovered in a Binondo warehouse was one of the biggest so far by operatives of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service-Manila International Container Port (CIIS-MICP).
