CALASIAO, Pangasinan — Officials placed this central Pangasinan town under a state of calamity due to the massive flooding caused by rains dumped by the southwest monsoon enhanced by Storm Enteng.
Even as the skies cleared on Sunday, floodwaters in 14 of this town's 24 villages continued to rise, said Mayor Kevin Roy Macanlalay.
