Osaka Bluteon holds off Alas Pilipinas

MANILA, Philippines — THE Alas Pilipinas Men held the upper hand several times but Osaka Bluteon asserted its superiority and scored a 25-17, 25-10, 25-21 victory in the Alas Pilipinas Invitationals on Sunday at the Philippine Arena in Pasig City.

Olympian and Filipino fan favorite Yuji Nishida again came up huge for the Japan V.League squad with 12 points, seven from attacks, four aces and a block as the visitors completed a sweep of the two exhibition matches against Alas Pilipinas.
