BENGUET — Typhoon Enteng and the monsoon rains failed to stop workers from restoring the damaged section of the Halsema Highway, one of the primary routes in the Cordillera region.

The damaged section in Bakun, Benguet, has been restored even as farmers, who have been hard up in transporting their produce since the section of the highway eroded during Typhoon Carina on August 23, thanked the government for its swift action.
