THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Sunday that it is closely monitoring two low pressure areas (LPA) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) which may intensify into tropical depression.
Weather specialist Grace Castañeda said the LPA spotted east-northwest of extreme Northern Luzon may be the first to intensify and enter PAR.
