SBP pushing Boatwright naturalization amid loaded Senate schedule

MANILA, Philippines — Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas president Al Panlilio said the SBP remains proactive in pushing for the naturalization process of Bennie Boatwright despite the busy schedule of the Senate and Congress owing to the investigation regarding former Bamban mayor Alice Guo and her link to illegal Philippine offshore gaming operators (Pogos).

"The Senate and Congress have been very helpful, but after the SONA (State of the Nation Address) of the President (Bongbong Marcos), they became busy with the budget (discussion) and the Alice Guo issues," Panlilio told The Manila Times.
