MANILA, Philippines — As the rejigged Barangay Ginebra slowly picks up steam following back-to-back wins on Friday, coach Tim Cone took time to honor the Gin Kings' senior citizen Japeth Aguilar, who's embraced his new role for the team in the PBA Season 49 Governors' Cup.
At 37, Cone noted that Aguilar hardly lost his athleticism as the eight-time PBA champion has elevated his game to a whole new level since Christian Standhardinger has been traded to Terrafirma in the offseason.
