CARACAS, Venezuela — Sleeping on the floor, handcuffed, next to prisoners: this was the experience of a 17-year old Venezuelan arrested on "terrorism" charges for allegedly joining a demonstration against the disputed reelection of President Nicolas Maduro.

The teen, who asked to be identified only as "Pedro," told AFP he wasn't even protesting.
