President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. presides over a situation briefing on the effects of Tropical Storm Enteng and the enhanced southwest monsoon in Rizal Province at the Ynares Events Center in Antipolo City on September 6, 2024. As of today, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) of Rizal has reported at least 12 deaths, three (3) individuals still missing and five (5) injured due to flooding and landslides caused by Tropical Storm Enteng, exacerbated by the prevailing southwest monsoon. An estimated 5,668 individuals or approximately 1,670 families are currently housed in 49 evacuation centers in Rizal.
