PERSISTING in its mission to aid the community in the aspects of education, health, livelihood, and disaster risk reduction and management, the Metrobank Foundation (MBFI) and the George Ty (GT) Foundation turned over grants to 30 academic institutions and organizations, bolstering their mission with financial assistance that totaled P45 million.

The annual event celebrated not just the ambition of MBFI to serve the community but also honored the advocacies of its late founder, George Ty, who believed in taking care of the underprivileged and marginalized sectors of society.
