Rosa Sports Complex in Laguna on Friday, Sept. 6.Two days after winning the bronze medal in the 2024 Reinforced Conference, Cignal went off to a good start with a lopsided win.PVL Reinforced Conference Best Foreign Guest Player MJ Perez led the HD Spikers with 16 points, while Jackie Acuña added 11.Gel Cayuna displayed her offensive side as a setter after tallying 13 excellent sets, along with six points on three attacks, a block and two aces.Team captain Ces Molina shared how proud she is that her team was able to pull through despite a tight schedule. 'I think when it comes to readiness, we are ready. Still, we are recovering from our health, and of course, also our mental health. Hopefully, we can continue this good start,' Molina said after the game.Farm Fresh struggled in the attacking department after only making 28 kills while Cignal tallied 45.Japanese import Asaka Tamaru led the Foxies with nine points, nine excellent digs and eight excellent receptions.Trisha Tubu and Caitlin Viray chipped in four, and six points, respectively.
