THE National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said more than 1.6 million people were affected by the rains unleashed by Tropical Storm Enteng and the southwest monsoon or habagat.
In its latest report, the council said 1,610,322 people, or 410,371 families, in the regions of Ilocos, Cagayan, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Bicol, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Cordillera, and Metro Manila were affected.
