KYIV — Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, one of Kyiv's most recognizable faces on the international stage, submitted his resignation on Wednesday, ahead of an expected major Cabinet reshuffle, as a Russian strike on the western city of Lviv left at least seven people dead.

Kuleba, 43, didn't give a reason for stepping down, but lawmakers will discuss his resignation at their next session, Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk said on his Facebook page. Four other Cabinet ministers tendered their resignations on Tuesday night, making the reshuffle likely the biggest since Russian forces invaded Ukraine in late February 2022.
