Man found guilty of financing rebels

ILOILO CITY — A resident of Capiz, an alleged supporter of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army, has been convicted by the regional trial court in Aklan of terrorism financing.

The accused, identified as Brince Gegodas, was found guilty of violating Section 6 of Republic Act (RA) 10168, or The Terrorism Financing Prevention and Suppression Act of 2012.
