"KAKARAMPUT na dagdag sahod (Measly wage increase)' practically reverberated inside the Malcom Theater in the University of the Philippines last week. The UP College of Law's Labor Law Cluster held a symposium to discuss "Minimum Wage? Living Wage? Making Both Ends Meet."

The speakers and panel discussants included Rizal 4th District Rep. Juan Fidel Felipe Nograles, chairman of the House Labor Committee; National Chairman Renato "Ka Rene" Magtubo of Partido Manggagawa; DoLE NCR Regional Director Atty. Sarah Buena Mirasol; and myself as chairman of ECOP's TWG on Labor and Social Policy Issues.
