THE Asian Institute of Management (AIM) launched its Master in Data Analytics (MDA) program on August 30 to address the escalating global demand for skilled data analysts.

The Analytics Association of the Philippines (AAP) estimates that by 2028, the country will need 500,000 analytics professionals. The number, however, only considers the information and technology (IT) sector, indicating that demand may be higher in marketing, sales, media, public relations, human resources, government and other sectors.
