China school bus crashes into crowd, 11 dead

BEIJING — A school bus plowed into a crowd of people outside a middle school in eastern China on Tuesday, killing 11 parents and students, state media reported.

State broadcaster China Central Television (CCTV) said the driver 'lost control' of the vehicle as it approached the school in the city of Tai'an, Shandong province, at 7:27 a.m.
