MANILA, Philippines — Make it 9 for Creamline. This shade of pink reigned supreme as the heavily-favored Cool Smashers proved that they are the queens after fending off Akari in the finals of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) 2024 Reinforced Conference, 25-15, 25-23, 25-17, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig on a rainy Wednesday night, Sept. 4.

After a five-year drought in the import-laden conference, despite not having its key players in the tournament, the Cool Smashers proved that they could weather the storm as they stacked another gold in their collection.
