CAMP BGEN VICENTE P. LIM, Calamba City — A total of 2,929 assorted loose firearms have been confiscated by the Police Regional Office – Calabarzon (PRO-4A) from January 1 to August 31 this year.
Regional director BGen Paul Kenneth Lucas said during a press briefing on Tuesday that the firearms were seized during 60,332 police operations the PRO-4A conducted, including the implementation of search warrants, checkpoints, Oplan Bakal/Sita, police patrols/responses, and Oplan Katok.
