CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — After so much speculation on his political plans, a real estate developer and businessman here announced on Tuesday his intention to run for the highest executive position of the province.

Orven Rabino, a self-made businessman and real estate developer from a fishing village in the city, released a statement on Tuesday, saying that he will run for governor in the May 2025 elections.
