THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Bulacan 1st District Engineering Office on Monday mobilized its disaster response teams to monitor and report the status of national roads and bridges while providing immediate assistance to affected communities due to the continuous rainfall brought by the southwest monsoon and Tropical Storm Enteng.

District Engineer Henry Alcantara said their manpower and quick response assets are positioned at key road sections such as Manila North Road, Maharlika Highway, Bigaa – Plaridel Road, and Plaridel Bypass Road due to their high traffic volume, strategic importance, and historical vulnerability to flooding.
