Ran Takahashi on trying balut: 'The taste is good'

MANILA, Philippines — Japanese volleyball star Ran Takahashi on Friday tried Filipino food, particularly balut, in a video put up by lighting company Akari.

The two-time Olympian, in a video posted by Akari on Instagram, sampled the Filipino delicacy.
