MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday called on the local government units (LGUs) to immediately address waste management issues in several provinces in Luzon and Visayas that were hit by floods and landslides caused by Severe Tropical Storm "Enteng" and an enhanced southwest monsoon.
In a statement, Marcos also assured the public of the government's continued assistance to residents affected by the tropical storm.
