'Enteng' intensifies into severe tropical storm; Signal No. 1 up in 4 Northern Luzon provinces

MANILA, Philippines — As 'Enteng' intensified into a severe tropical storm, Signal No. 1 remained up over at least four provinces in Northern Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Tuesday.

Under Signal No. 1 are Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, the northern portion of La Union (Luna, Santol, San Juan, Bagulin, Bangar, San Gabriel, Bacnotan, Sudipen, Balaoan and City of San Fernando) and Abra.
