MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Transportation (DOTr) reported on Tuesday that all airports run by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) remain operational and have sustained no damage amid the heavy rains spawned by Tropical Storm "Enteng" and an enhanced southwest monsoon.
The DOTr, however, said all airlines would follow the directive specified in Memorandum Circular 013-2023 issued by CAAP Director General Capt. Manuel Antonio Tamayo that prohibits an aircraft with a maximum certificated takeoff weight of 5,700 kilograms or less from flying under Storm Signal No. 1.
