MANILA, Philippines — State hydrologists warned on Tuesday that two major dams are near spilling level and may overflow if the rains, spawned by Tropical Storm "Enteng" and an enhanced southwest monsoon, would continue.

Hydrologist Edgar dela Cruz told The Manila Times via Viber that they were closely monitoring the La Mesa Dam in Quezon City and Magat Dam in Isabela.
