MANILA, Philippines — Filipino swimmer Ernie Gawilan progressed to the final round after finishing third at the Paris Paralympics men's 400m freestyle S7 heats at the Paris La Defense Arena on Monday afternoon, September 2 (Manila time).
Gawilan topped heat 2 and posted the third best time of 5:00.13 in the 2-heat, 9-swimmer field, where the top eight entered the medal round set at 11:30 p.m. later.
