TUBUNGAN, Iloilo — The Department of Tourism (DoT) spearheaded the groundbreaking ceremony and signed the memorandum of agreement (MoA) for the establishment of a tourist rest area (TRA) here on Friday.

Situated in Barangay Igpaho, the TRA in Tubungan is the first to be constructed in the province of Iloilo and the Western Visayas region.
