THE Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) announced on Thursday that a language training center in Cavite was shut down as it was operating as a recruitment center for workers to Germany without the necessary government licenses.
Volant Academy for Language Excellence, located in Barangay Lumil, Silang, Cavite, was padlocked by the DMW Migrant Workers Protection Bureau (MWPB) led by Assistant Secretary Ron de Guzman, in coordination with the town's government and local police.
